MS Quarterly News reports earned premiums in the Sales Performance section on a preliminary basis, where those in both accounts of Personal Accident and Total are counted to include those from long-term medical insurance after annual adjustment. In the above-mentioned issues, the portion of long-term medical insurance for the period from July 2005 through July 10, 2006, which should have been included in, was omitted by mistake from the a-year-ago figures relevant to the reporting quarters and year-to-date periods.
