Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company, Limited (the “Company”) hereby announces that today it resolved the conditions for the issue of the Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company, Limited 3rd Series Unsecured Bonds (i.e., ranking pari passu among themselves) as per the attachment.

The Company established the registration limit for the issue of bonds (JPY 200 billion) on October 15, 2006 and decided to issue straight bonds in order to improve capital efficiency along with diversification of fund procurement methods. The net proceeds will be used for long-term investible funds and general operation purposes.
