MSI Won “2005 Underwriting Team of the Year”
of the 6th Insurance Day Awards as the Most Active Underwriting Team |
The Cargo Underwriting Group of Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co., Ltd. (President: Hiroyuki Uemura) was awarded “2005 Underwriting Team of The Year” at the ceremony of Insurance Day Awards as “the most Successful underwriting team in the year” on December 8th, 2005.
MSI has not only been Japan’s top marine insurer with its high growth rate and stable profitability since its establishment in 2001, but also extended its high quality and global services to the customers. The company was awarded based on total recognition, including these achievements, and rewarded as the first laureate in Japanese non-life insurance industry. |

Annual contest hostedby a British daily paper “Insurance Day” of Informa Group plc. This was the sixth contest and the memorial one of the tenth anniversary of the paper, and12 excellent teams and companies were awarded, including those in two categories added for this particular year.
