Payout for Damages Caused by Indian Ocean Tsunami and Off-Sumatran
Coast Earthquake |
We all at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance ("MSI") would like
to express our deepest sympathy to all the people who suffer from
the earthquake and the tsunami caused by it on December 26, 2004 and
wish them all soonest recovery from the disaster.
At this moment, MSI estimates payouts totaling to about two billion
yen for the damages due to the Indian Ocean Tsunami and the Off-Sumatran
Coast Earthquake on a consolidation basis.
It does not have a serious impact on our operations. |
