| Issue of Straight
Bonds |
Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company, Limited (the "Company")
hereby announces that the conditions of issue of the 1st
Series Unsecured Bonds (ranking pari passu among themselves) and the
2nd Series of Unsecured Bonds (ranking
pari passu among themselves) of the Company were determined today
as per the attachment.
The Company established the registration limit of the issue of bonds
(¥ 200 billion) on October 15, 2004 and determined to issue straight
bonds in order to improve capital efficiency by using the diversified
methods of fund procurement. The net proceeds will be used to fund
long-term capital expenditures including investments in subsidiaries
and general corporate purposes. |
