In fact, we position quality improvement as the highest priority issue in our business, and for this reason we have reviewed each of our work processes by undertaking what we call the "four innovations," namely innovations in product, sales, accident support, and systems & administrations. We will ensure that we practice these new work processes to provide our customers with easy-to-understand products and services, to build a trustworthy sales network with excellent response capability, and to ensure fair insurance payments that provide customers with a strong sense of security. We will continue to refine these and other work processes, using them as the competitive edge we need to achieve sustainable growth.

As already announced, the Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Group made a fresh start under MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings, Inc. on April 1, 2010, which was formed through business integration with Aioi Insurance Co., Ltd. and Nissay Dowa General Insurance Co., Ltd.
